Animal Surgical Clinic of Seattle is pleased to announce the opening of our new, comprehensive Animal Rehabilitation Center!  Physical rehabilitation has proven to be of significant benefit to people with injuries or chronic conditions, and many pet owners are anxious to provide the same benefits for their pets.

Under the direction of Ahmad Jakish, DVM, CCRP, the mission of this exciting service is to assist pets in gaining optimum mobility while promoting the human-animal bond.  Dr. Jakish is available to treat both post-op cases and pets with long-term chronic conditions that will benefit from therapy.

In addition, he can set up conditioning and weight-management programs to ensure optimum physical performance for working, sporting and agility dogs (or for any couch potato canine that needs a helping hand!).

We offer a comprehensive list of physical rehabilitation modalities, including hydrotherapy (underwater treadmill) .  We are also excited to offer cutting edge Stem Cell Regenerative Therapy and Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy.

Our rehabilitation goals are to:

Dr. Jakish is one of only a handful of veterinarians in the Northwest who are also Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioners.  He is a member of the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians.
