Teresa Casson, LVT, Lead Veterinary Technician

Teresa came to work for ASCS in 1997 after receiving her AA from Pierce College Veterinary Technology Program in Tacoma, and completing a prestigious year-long internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Her particular interest at ASCS is anesthesia and she is currently studying to certify as a Technician Specialist in Veterinary Anesthesia. A Northwest native, Teresa enjoys gardening and travel, and has raised three puppies for Canine Companions for Independence. She and her husband share their home with their Lab, Charlie Brown, who often greets and reassures clients in our lobby with a happy grin and wag of a tail.

Sari Lieberman, LVT

Sari joined ASCS in 2000, after receiving her AA from Harcum College and interning at the University of Pennsylvania. She particularly enjoys surgical assisting, myelography and critical care of the surgical patient. Sari shares her home with Liza (a Scotty that she rescued from a puppy mill), Wendell (a Border Collie cross), Patty (a Pom mix) and two rescued kitties, Liam and Bruce. She enjoys gardening, bicycling and yoga, as well as entertaining our staff with impersonations and crazy show tunes.

Jenny Dunn, LVT

Jenny joined ASCS in 2000, after receiving her AA from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Denver and interning at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital. Her particular interests are radiology and critical care of the surgical patient. She is the proud owner of a rescued pit bull, Betty, and is interested in educating the public about this breed. Jenny also shares her home with Juice, an orange tabby that she rescued and rehabilitated to full recovery from a broken back.

Sarah Johnson, LVT

After working for five years in general and emergency practice, Sarah came to ASCS as a relief assistant and moved to full-time in 2002. Shortly thereafter, she sat for and passed her boards to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Sarah's particular interests are anesthetic pharmacology, surgical nursing and client education. She shares her home with her Great Danes, two cats and an assortment of fish and amphibians. In her spare time, Sarah loves traveling around the world, competitive carriage-driving with her Friesian horse, and hitting the ski slopes as often as our fickle Northwest winters allow.

Teresa Johnson, LVT

ASCS welcomed Teresa to our staff in 2006. She received her AAS in Veterinary Technology from Northern Virginia Community College in 1994, and has worked in general and surgical practices for over 12 years. Teresa shares her home with her college-student daughter, as well as two retired blood donor cats, Elvis and Alfred. She is active in outreach work with her church, and loves hiking in the beautiful Northwest.

Lana Andrews, LVT

Lana joined our crew in 2009.  She received her AAS in Veterinary Technology from Parkland Community College in Illinois in 1986 and has worked extensively in both general and surgical specialty practice. Lana shares her home with her husband and step-daughter, as well as two rescued mixed breed dogs and three kitties.  ASCS benefits greatly from her superb baking skills on a regular basis (we swear that's not why we hired her!)

Paul Lomano, Pack Room Manager

Paul joined ASCS in 1999. His work world is centered in the pack room, where he is responsible for sterilization, maintenance and inventory control for all of our surgical instruments and equipment. He is also Finder-of-Oddball-Retractors when the surgeons call for something unusual! He and his wife share their home with their quirky cats, Vincent and Clara. Paul enjoys travel to the United Kingdom, and is an avid reader of a wide range of literature from Lord of the Rings to Sherlock Holmes.

Jeff Mitchell, Pack Room Assistant

Jeff joined ASCS in 2008 as a volunteer, and became a part-time assistant shortly thereafter.  He graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor's degree in Biology in 2009, and will be leaving ASCS this summer to attend veterinary school at WSU.  Read about Jeff's journey to Central America as a veterinary volunteer!

Management and Front Desk Staff

Jane David, LVT, Hospital Manager

Jane received a dual B.S. in Biology and Psychology from Wake Forest University in 1981. In 2001, she received her AA from Pierce College Veterinary Technology Program in Tacoma, and completed three internships at local clinics, including ASCS. Shortly thereafter, she joined our practice as a part-time technician and became Hospital Manager in 2004. Although she misses the day-to-day excitement and satisfaction of anesthesia and surgery, she enjoys teaming with the staff and doctors to help ASCS continue to lead the way in veterinary surgery in the Northwest. Jane and her husband share their home with Mara, a very sweet lump-of-a-Lab.

Noelle Norrie, Client Referral Coordinator
noelle_website.jpgNoelle is one of the long-timers at ASCS, coming to work here in 1997. She is well-known and well-liked by our clients, and is always ready with a smile and a cookie (for the dogs!) She never ceases to amaze us with her memory of clients and their pets, and keeps us all on track and on schedule. Noelle spends her free time mountain biking with her husband, and hanging out with Finn and Fuddy, her black Labs.  Fuddy, who is 12 years old, just joined their family this year when Noelle adopted him from Old Dog Haven.

Merry Revenaugh, Client Referral Coordinator
merry_website.jpgMerry's arrival at ASCS in 2006 brought a new dose of energy to our clinic!  Her upbeat attitude and empathy for our clients and their pets shines through every day.  Merry loves traveling, shopping, coffee, sushi, live music and spending time with her friends.  She also loves snuggling with "da Rue", aka Ruby Tuesday, her Chihuahua-Dachschund mix who can usually be spotted curled up on a comfy bed behind the lobby desk.
