Dr. Nic Cabano Joins Our Team
We would like to welcome an exciting new team member to SOUND Veterinary Rehabilitation Center.
Dr. Nic Cabano, DVM, MS, DACVS, DACVSMR, is double-boarded in rehabilitation/sports medicine and surgery, and he is considered an expert in the field of working dog sports medicine.
Dr. Cabano sports quite a roster of accomplishments. After receiving his DVM from University of California Davis, he completed two internships with the US Army, followed by a small animal surgical residency in combination with a Masters Degree at Colorado State University.
He served largely in the US Armed Forces and was the clinical instructor in charge of the First-Year Graduate Veterinary Education Program, FYGVE, at Fort Carson. He was Chief of Surgery for LTC Daniel E. Holland Military Working Dog Hospital, and was the Attending Veterinarian for the Army Medical Center and School in San Antonio, Tx.
He also serves as a faculty member for the Penn Vet Working Dog Practitioner Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
He will begin seeing appointments at SOUND Rehabilitation Center beginning November, 2nd.
