    Updates for both ASOC and SOUND should be included here.

    Use this section to share an interesting patient or case that was seen at ASOC and/or SOUND (or both!). 

  • CONTINUING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITY (CLICK TO EXPAND)

    Consider how you want to handle CE opportunities. If there will be a CE opportunity that is recommended each month by ASOC and SOUND, include that information here. If only internal CE opportunities will be included in the newsletter, share that information in the ‘Clinic Updates’ section and the ‘ICYMI’ section. 

  • MONTHLY RAFFLE (CLICK TO EXPAND)

    Use this section to congratulate last month’s answer and winner, and announce the new monthly raffle and how to enter. 

    The gamified strategy to increase consumption of the employee newsletter and marketing content could be (but are not limited to): 

    Option 1: Social Media Word of the Month 

    • Announce the ‘Word of the Month’ in the newsletter 
    • Randomly during the month, the social media team will post at least once with the word included 
    • When employees see the post with the ‘word of the month,’ employees have to engage with it and send a screenshot with it and the word to the appointed staff member. 
    • All employees who engaged with the content, sent a screenshot, and had the correct word submitted by the selected time will be entered to win a prize through a raffle. 

    Option 2: Find an Answer in a Blog Post 

    • Ask an industry-related question that if someone does not happen to know the answer to, they could find it by reading a monthly blog post (either the most recent or within the last 3 months). 
    • The employees must submit their answers to the appointed staff member. 
    • Anyone who answers correctly is entered to win a prize through a raffle. 

    Option 3: Solve a Fun Riddle 

    • Ask a riddle, puzzle, brainbuster, trivia question, etc. 
    • The employees must submit their answers to the appointed staff member. 
    • Anyone who answers correctly is entered to win a prize through a raffle. 

    The prize should be large enough for employees to be motivated to take action, but not so large that it’s not sustainable every month for ASOC. Examples might include e a $25 Amazon gift card, a gift certificate to a local event, ASOC swag, or other interests common to employees. 

    It may become important to reignite the incentives and employee participation every so often. This will be based on entries and engagement. That can be done in a larger, more ‘valuable’ prize that’s done only quarterly or semi-annually. 

    This could be a raffle that everyone who had entered into the previous monthly contests was automatically entered into. Examples for prizes may be an extra paid day off, a $100 gift certificate to a local hot spot, tickets to a local festival, a Bark Box subscription, etc.
