A Short History of ASOC
Animal Surgical and Orthopedic Center was founded in 1986 as Animal Surgical Center of Seattle in the Eastlake area by veterinary surgeon Dr. Kenneth Sinibaldi. It was one of the first exclusively surgical practices in greater Seattle, earning the trust, respect, and loyalty of veterinarians and pet owners throughout the region.
As the practice grew, Dr. Sinibaldi moved to the Wallingford area and, in 2009, the practice moved to its current location in Shoreline. Since then, Dr. Sinibaldi retired and the practice became co-owned by four of its surgeons. The modern, well-equipped facility features seven exam rooms and five state-of-the-art surgical suites.
Today, the ASOC staff includes six board-certified veterinary surgeons, one of whom is also board-certified in veterinary sports medicine and rehabilitation, as well as four certified rehabilitation veterinarians and a professional support staff of licensed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and administrative support staff. Plus, ASOC is one of the only surgery practices in the area that remains independently owned.
This advanced, specialized expertise and business model has positioned ASOC as the leading orthopedics, sports medicine, and rehabilitation practice in the Pacific Northwest.
